The Advanced Implant Year Course

Enrolling Now for November 2019

This pioneering course has been designed to train implant dentists to an exceptionally high level of implant dentistry, increasing their scope of practice and mastering techniques that produce exceptional success rates and treatment predictability.  Unleash the full potential of your implant dentistry within your practice.

The Advanced Implant Year Course is suitable for dentists who are already placing some implants and have realised that bone augmentation and more advanced planning techniques are essential to expand their implant work and scope of practice.

The course teaches the proven techniques that are used in a successful implant clinic, which can be implemented in your practice to dramatically increase the number of cases you can comfortably treat. These techniques include highly predictable Socket Grafting protocols, Bone Grafting, Onlay Block grafting, Sinus Management, Guided Surgery, and Full Arch Fixed Rehabilitation. You will gain intimate knowledge of digital implant planning and workflows.

Clinical Treatments

During the course you are encouraged to begin to implement the planning and surgical techniques within your own practice, using the NobelClinican planning software, as well as the option to bring your own patients to Guy's Dental Implant Centre, our state of the art implant teaching centre, for implant treatment under one-to-one mentoring with Dr David Guy.  Clinical arrangements will be made on an individual basis to take consideration of the varied experience levels of the attendees.

GDC and Professional Guidelines on Implant Training

Recent training and GDC recommendations are that implant dentists should practise within their Scope of Practice according to criteria for Simple and Complex cases. Guidelines state that dentists require further and ongoing implant training to justify their scope of implant practice. This course is designed to address those training needs.
